My daughter Toni #OurMightyFreshmanToni is an amazing young lady, and a very talented Clarinet player as well. #ClarinetQueen She can read and write music and she can play her instrument by ear as well! She loves to listen to songs and decipher the notes, teaching herself to play the song as she goes, then writing it all out on music paper. #ToniHitsTheHighNotes Her music teacher has already said that it is time for Toni to step up into a better-quality instrument. #ClarinetDreams But as a disabled parent, raising three special needs kids, the costs associated with a higher quality instrument put it out of our reach. #ToniAndTheClarinet
In the next few weeks, we will be launching an exciting campaign to raise enough money to purchase Toni a Buffet Crampon R13 Clarinet. The R13 is an intermediate to professional level instrument, and Toni is ready for it.
So I decided to appeal to the one place where they say dreams can still come true, the internet. Stay tuned for more, as we get to know Toni, launch a GoFundMe, post updates to our donation thermometer and more!
